More Becca at Cannon Beach

Here is a little more Becca playing at the beach. She had a lot of fun. On the day this video was taken she also went swimming with daddy at the pool. She loved it so much he had to take her out screaming when it was time to leave.



Aqui vai mais um pouco de Rebecca na praia. Ela se divertiu bastante. Nesse mesmo dia ela foi nadar com o pai na piscina. Ela gostou tanto que ele teve que tirá-la de lá e carregá-la chorando por que ela nao queria sair por nada.

Cannon Beach

We spent the last three days at Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast. It was Rebecca's first time at the beach. I have pictures and video of our trip to look through and once I am done I'll post some of them. For now, here is Ollie during the car ride.





Nós passamos os últimos três dias na práia na costa de Oregon. Foi a primeira vez que a Rebecca brincou na práia. Eu tenho fotos e vídeos da viagem para organizar e quando terminar eu coloco algumas fotos aqui. Por enquanto , aqui está uma foto do Ollie no carro.

Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. We went to Anacortes for some shopping and walking around the town. I had a great day and an awesome night. Rebecca went to bed early but we stayed up to watch a movie. To our surprise, the neighbors put on a great firework show right in front of our house. It lasted about an hour and it was really fun. Amazingly, Rebecca slept through the whole thing.

Aniversário
Ontem foi meu aniversário. Nós fomos para Anacortes fazer umas comprinhas e passear pela cidade. O dia foi bem divertido e a noite melhor ainda. Rebecca foi dormir cedo mas nós ficamos acordados para assistir um filme. Para nossa surpresa, os vizinhos fizeram um show de fogos de artifício na nossa rua. O show durou mais que uma hora e a Rebecca dormiu o tempo todo.

Fun with cousins

Morgan and Kaden spent some time with us last week while their parents went to Hawaii. While here, they spent a lot of time entertaining Rebecca. Her favorite game was getting into the laundry basket to have either Morgan or Kaden drag her around the house. One day she spent 45 minutes inside that basket either being dragged or waiting for Morgan to drag her around. I've never seen her stay still that long while awake. She really loved having her cousins around and Caleb and I loved having them here as well.






Diversão com os primos

Morgan e Kaden passaram a essa semana aqui com a gente enquanto os pais deles estavam no Havai. Durante a semana, eles passaram bastante tempo entretendo a Rebecca. A brincadeira preferida dela era entrar na cesta de roupas para que o Morgan ou o Kaden puxassem ela pela casa toda. Um dia ela passou 45 minutos dentro da cesta esperando ser puxada ou sendo puxada pela casa. Eu nunca vi ela parada assim por tanto tempo enquanto acordada. Ela adorou ter os priminhos aqui essa semana e o Caleb e eu adoramos também.

"Getting Into Stuff"

I think that for most parents, saying that their kids "get into stuff" means one thing. It usually refers to the fact that kids find stuff that doesn't belong to them to play with. Around here, "getting into stuff" means just that. Rebecca gets into any box, basket, closet, or pantry she can find.
