Yesterday Caleb had his knee surgery done. He tore his ACL and meniscus while playing basketball after work last October. The surgery lasted about 2 hours but we were at the hospital all day. Everything went okay and he is now home resting.

7 Years of Marriage

Sunday and Monday we celebrated our seventh year Anniversary. We celebrate for two days because when we got married in Brazil we had to have a civil wedding on the tenth and on the eleventh we had our temple wedding.
As usual we used Mom and Dad’s anniversary gift of $20 to go out to dinner. We also decided to go big and we purchased a Wii as a Christmas/anniversary gift to ourselves.

The Year 2010

As exciting as the year 2009 was, the year 2010 promises to be even more exciting with many new changes.

We have put our house up for sale and as soon as we sell it we plan to move to Washington State to be closer to family.

FOR SALE

Caleb is making a job change and will soon start working from home. This will allow us to move to Washington where we plan to stay with Caleb’s parents until we find a home.

At the end of April our little baby girl will be arriving and we can only imagine what our lives will be like when that happens.

2009 in Review

2009 was a very big year for us. In our 6th year of marriage a lot of things happened.

In April I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s in Marriage Family and Human Development. Both my parents and Caleb’s parents came to my graduation.

In May I was sworn in as a citizen of the United States.

In August we bought a puppy. I have wanted a puppy for a really long time and I was finally able to convince Caleb to get me one.

About a week after we purchased the puppy, we found out that we were expecting our first child.

In November we found out that we were both wrong and we were not having a boy as we had thought. A baby girl was on the way.
